We are going to be spending much less than last year. Our financial situation, because of the economy has changed greatly. My husband lost one of his job and my hours were cut and we've been hit with some very unexpected bills to add to the problem. So, we're spending a lot less and even our kids know that there will be less under the tree this year. What a great prize by the way. Thanks so much for offering this.

I'll be spending more money this year. Although the economy hasn't quite picked up, I feel the holidays are a chance to really show your family and friends how much you care about them - although you can do this year-round! When you select a gift for someone, you're telling that person you know their likes and dislikes and you value them in your life. While you don't have to spend tons of money on gifts, your gift selection says a lot about you as well... how much thought did you put into the gift? will it be something that they enjoy? So while material things shouldn't always equate with your love or care for someone, they are a factor - and a gift, whether you spend a lot or a little is an important token of love/friendship. So I, for one, am going all out this year!

My spending habbits change from year to year. I do not buy gifts just to buy, I buy them for people I care about. I need to make sure the gift fits th person and I do not always know what the price is at the time. I want ot make people smile and get them something that will put a smile on their face and warm their hearts. you can not put a spendng limit on that.

I am spending quite a bit less. I operate a licensed in-home child care/preschool and sadly, when families are tightening their budgets, they tend to send their children to family for free instead of spending on their children's early development :( I have 4 boys, so this holiday will be focused on them and the few children that are enrolled in my program. Even though money is tight for everyone here, my great families have all donated PJ's to the Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive so that children in homeless shelters, foster homes, etc. will have new PJs and a new book for the holiday! Can't lie, I would love to have this bag! What a treat :)

I will definitely be spending more. Even though the economy is down it does not mean that the amount of people expecting gifts will also decrease. I will be spending LESS amount of money on holiday shopping this year in comparison with last year. One of the major factors is that my husband has now been unemployed for over a year. In the course of the year bills have been creeping up and are harder to deal with. I will be encouraging being resourceful and giving creative and from the heart gifts. Hoping to use the advice of great finds like your blog to it's fullest potential.

Sadly, I have to respond that we will be spending less money this year for our holiday shopping. We love to make Christmas festive and we want to provide our 3 young children with the gifts that they want and also with some things they need, but we just don't have the money this year. Instead, the kids are going to get one item they really want, and more items that they need, like new winter coats. We will try and make the holidays festive by focusing on Christmas music, outdoor activities and baking goodies. On a side note, I have always dreamed of owning a classic and forever gorgeous handbag from Coach. I could not have dreamed of a more perfect Coach bag as the one offered in this giveaway. It is so feminine, chic and will stand the test of time in terms of always giving your outfits that complete, polished and very sophisticated look. Thanks so much for the chance to ener.

We will spend about the same amount on gifts, but, even now that is very limited. Instead, we apportion more money for gifts to charities that provide food, shelter, or clothing to the increasing numbers of those in need. We've redirected our charitable giving in this way and will continue to do this.

About the same as last year - which is MUCH less than years before when we had more income and the economy was better. This year, like last year - is just depressing :(

We spend about the same every year b/c we never go over-board. I have a bunch of used toys that I got for like one dollar each at mom-to-mom sales that I give my kids.

I think we'll be spending about the same as last year. For the past few years we've really tried to cut back and not go overboard at the holidays for the kids..it's soooo easy to do when you start buying really early, put that stuff away, forget what you bought, and buy more stuff!

I will definitely spend less this year. I think there are so many other things to be thankful for. Having a home to live in and the health of our family for one. Being conscious of the families in crisis, has given many of us an awaking to be more aware of the amount of $$$ we spend. Happy Holidays to all!

We are going to be spending much less this year. We need to be more frugal. Because of the economy and I have been unemployed for over a year, we needed to tighten our budget and get more imaginative. This bag would make a great gift for my wife, making we stay within the budget.

We will definitely be spending Less Money this year on holiday gifts. I feel so bad about that, but we just don't have the money to spend this year that we had other years. Our situation is not so much based on the economy and how that has changed as much as our kids are young, growing so fast and we can't keep up with the cost of getting them clothes that they need that fit! Also, we had to replace our roof recently and had some major car repairs that had to be done so having to spend those large amounts of money set us back. That's my story, it is interesting to read what others have to say, makes me feel like I have company! Happy Holidays everyone and BTW - I have always dreamed of having a stunning Coach Handbag like this one. Thank you for the chance to enter.

I think a bit less. The reason is I am not confident with the debt this nation has and am concerned about the future. My husband and son have far less work than last year and I just don't know when it will pick up. I am trying to purchase only items that are truely needed by my family.

I hope to save alittle bit more money this year due to the economic economy situation. I want to try to save alittle here and there so that I can help the less fortunate this year, by buying some food and donating them to the charities among town. I don't think enough people stop and appreciate what they have in there life, and give to those less fortunate. I could never afford a coach purse but would love to have one, because to me if it meant buying a purse with the money I have left over or helping others, I would have to choose to help others. Thank you and Happy Holidays to all!!!!
